Germany- A Country beautiful beyond words :)

Germany, Deutschland in German, is one of the most powerful and economically well countries of Europe. Its the home of BMW and the home of Hitler. So, anyone would not miss an oppurtunity to visit this exotic nation. I didn't, too. So, here's a brief account of the best two weeks of my life. :)

Deutchland! :) The Experience of a Lifetime! :)

Deutschland- A Home away from Home!
You know you’re lucky when you’re one among seventeen to travel to an exotic country like Germany with your friends, to make new friends. You know you’re lucky when you’re at the airport, ready to board a flight, without your parents. And so, the best two weeks of our lives began.
With a warm welcome by our German partners at the Flughafen Munchen, the airport at Munich, you can very well imagine how our very first day at the home of Gummy Bears went.
Eventually however, it became easier, credits to our partners, who unhesitatingly translated everything into English for us. Our host families were very friendly and didn’t want us to feel away from home. My host mother, a sophisticated, beautiful lady, well into her late-fifties, would pack my tiffin everyday morning with a sandwhich, a bottle of water and a bottle of coke.
Sometimes, and additional treat of chocolates or gummy bears awaited me. It was amazing to see how much they tried to make me feel at home.
My host father, a splendid cook and photographer, would always be ready to drive us anywhere we liked, the shopping malls, strawberry fields, you name it. He loved it when I spoke about India; the subject of arranged marriages and other such customs fascinated them.
We travelled and visited many amazing places like the BMW factory, Klosterwald, Nurnberg, Munich and many beautiful churches.
It was fun travelling in the trams, buses and their awesome cars. We didn’t hesitate to take pictures everywhere we went and our host families kindly obliged by posing with us.
It was spectacular how the time flew, how it all ended even before it began. And so, the day arrived when we had to bid farewell to the Germans and head home.

Trust me, it wasn’t an easy task. It made for a sad picture, the way we were wiping each others tears, reminding each other there was still something happy ahead, still an October that would arrive before we knew it.
The time when we would re-unite with the best Exchange Partners ever. The time will come. July, August, September... OCTOBER :)
It was the Time of our Lives! :D
I would give anything to go back to that beautiful nation. :)
Even though its been almost to months since we returned, I still miss Lisa so much. She was the BEST partner one could ever ask for. They treated me like a princess, the whole family. They treated me like family.
Danke Schon Lisa und meine host familie! Vermisse dich und Liebe dich zu viel! <3
